英文法を学ぼう！ 〜複数形〜

どうもこんにちは！loljです。このブログでは、英文法をわかりやすくまとめた、英文法まとめノートの紹介をしていきたいと思います。今回は、英文法シリーズ第一回目、複数形についてです。

複数形

1. 指示代名詞、指示形容詞

・this→these（これらの）

例文：this book→these books

・that→those（あれらの）

例文：that pen→those pens

2. be動詞

is, am, are→areで統一される！

3. 人称代名詞

主格	所有格	目的格	所有代名詞
I	my	me	mine
you	your	you	yours
he	his	him	his
she	her	her	hers
it	its	it	N/A
who	whose	whom	whose
Mary	Mary’s	Mary	Mary’s

複数形になると...

主格	所有格	目的格	所有代名詞
we	our	us	ours
you	your	you	yours
they	their	them	their’s
				who	whose	whom	whose

This is a book.→These are books.

I am a girl.→We are girls.

It is a pen→They are pens.

4. 名刺の複数形

・原則sをつける

例：book→books（無声音＋sの場合は「s」と発音）

　　pen→pens（有声音＋sの場合は「z」と発音）

・語尾がs, ss, sh, ch, o, xで終わる場合はsではなくesをつける。

例：box→boxes

・母音＋yの場合はそのままsをつける。

例：boy→boys

・子音＋yの場合はyをiに変えて、esをつける。

例：lily→lilies

・語尾がfまたはfeの時はfをvに変えて、esをつける。

例：leaf→leaves

・不規則な複数形の名詞：

man→men

woman→women

child→children

tooth→teeth

roof→leaves

piano→pianos

foot→feet

radio→radios

mouse→mice

ox→oxen

・単数形も複数形も同じ名詞：

Chinese→Chinese

Japanese→Japanese

fish→fish

sheep→sheep

deer→deer

salmon→salmon
